Background
Kat is a certified yoga teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance. She has been doing yoga for years but became more serious about it after suffering a serious injury that prevented her from her usual martial arts activities. Yoga helped her not only physically but mentally as well. She decided to become a yoga teacher in 2022 so she could help her ninja brothers and sisters with strength, flexibility, and self-care, so they could avoid injuries like the one she dealt with.
Kat has been a martial artist for 10 years. She has a brown belt in Bang Muay Thai (BMT) and a blue belt in Infight Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She’s been coaching BMT for six years and utilizing yoga to help other martial artists find balance and the connection between mind and body. Kat also has a YouTube channel (Yoga With DojoKat), where she posts videos weekly for martial artists, athletes, or anyone who wants to find movement and give their bodies some love.
Kat is inspired to help people in her community start their transformative journey towards a healthier, happier life.
