How I work
Jessie holds a Master of Education in School and Counselling Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. She works with adults navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, and anxiety. Before entering counselling, she spent more than a decade as an elementary schoolteacher, supporting students and families with diverse backgrounds and needs.
Her approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and collaborative. She draws on nervous system regulation, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and strengths-based principles. Sessions are shaped around each client’s needs, goals, and pace.
As a woman diagnosed with ADHD later in life, Jessie brings lived understanding of the challenges of navigating a neurodivergent world. Her professional development includes training in ADHD, neurodiversity, trauma, grief, and Motivational Interviewing. She is currently completing the ADHD Regulation Method Certification Program.
Jessie also administers psychoeducational assessments at the University of Saskatchewan, including assessments for ADHD and learning disabilities.
