How I work
Katherine offers a warm, compassionate space for clients to explore their experiences, understand their patterns, and reconnect with themselves. She supports adults navigating anxiety, stress, overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, boundaries, and life transitions.
Her approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, integrating talk therapy with cognitive behavioural strategies and somatic practices. Sessions may include reflection, practical coping tools, grounding, breath awareness, and gentle movement, guided by each client’s comfort, needs, and goals.
Katherine holds a counselling diploma with honours from Kelowna College of Professional Counsellors. Her additional training in yoga, trauma-informed yoga, and somatic practices informs her interest in body awareness and the connection between thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences.
As a provisional counsellor, Katherine practises under clinical supervision. She values collaboration, curiosity, and helping clients build greater self-trust as they make meaningful changes in their lives.
